JAY KENT

Jay Kent is a 21 year old R&B/Pop singer, songwriter, & producer from the Philippines who isn’t afraid to experiment with her sound. Having grown up in a musical family, she’s been playing piano and singing since the young age of 7. Some of her musical influences include Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Chris Brown & Kehlani. Her sultry, unique tone combined with her swaggy lyrics and delivery has helped several of her videos go viral, garnering her over 135k followers and 1.2m likes on Tik Tok.

It was her cover of Doja Cat’s “Say So” that caught the attention of EP Entertainment A&R, Korinne Perez, in May of 2020. Since then, the two have been working virtually to develop Jay’s eclectic sound which is primarily r&b with hip hop and pop influences. So far she has collaborated virtually with d.a. got that dope, Alexis “Idarose” Kesselman (Joji, Becky G, Trevor Daniel), Kutta Beatz (Young Thug, Future, Offset) among others. She continues to push out viral content as she works on her debut project.
